Gary Joseph sat behind me the first half. To say that man is proud of his son would be the understatement of the century. I didn’t say a word to him. I didn’t have to. When Coach Jeff Joseph ran his team out on the field to start the game, his dad was wearing all the emotions on his face. That is one PROUD dad right there. ln that moment, it felt like watching his son build his own legacy meant more to him than any of the rings he has with Katy.
No doubt...his granddad Eddie would be proud too

Man, Jerry World was LIT…gotta admit I cried like a baby…lol! They sure can’t handle losing cause my son, his girlfriend, and I got flipped off and cussed out by a car full of SOC fans while walking back to our hotel…ugh! It’s ok, I “waived” back…lol!
All you need to say is, "Scoreboard".

Tepper had to say on the post game it was questionable. but they were looking as he defended the pass itself which was clean, but not immediately before which that shot clearly shows def pi. That said, they said PNG deserved the win as they made the big plays when it counted.
True. And we don’t even need to mention the several calls that were missed including one blatant PI by Soc.

Was Coach Gary Joseph wearing purple?

Surprised they even mentioned us winning State, but I guess they had to. Complete disrespect towards us all year long.
In the case of SOC, the victim mentality was bound to surface. PN-G winning the game just does not fit into the superior 'legendary' and 'mecca' narrative that was being sold. How could anyone compete with the 'dominant', 'legendary' inner city Dallas program that, according to their potty mouth head coach, had accomplished more than any program in the history of Texas high school football?

Truth is there were plenty of egregious non-calls in SOC's favor in that game as well. Bottom line is PN-G's defense kicked more a** than SOC in the end, and SOC couldn't score enough to win. PN-G outgained and outscored them. That's football.

Six of the seven woke "anal yst" picked Socks to win. But yes PNG defense came with an attitude and shut down an offense averaging 42 points a game. In addition if you take out the one 51 yard TD run, PNG allowed 111 yards for the whole game!!!!!! 28 yards a quarter......

Now that's an A^^ whooping.

Not sure if you noticed this, but the onside kick is exactly like the one Liberty Hill uses....and hell I think it shocked everyone, myself included!

Here's another aspect to consider. The Indians did not play their best on offense with at least a couple of motion penalties inside the 5, a dropped TD pass, and another slightly low pass at the goal line that factored into settling for the field goals. Yes SOC played tough defense at times but the Indians were not firing on all cylinders at times. Regardless the Indians survived 'death row' and beat on them enough to score 20 points while SOC was limited to 78 yards in the first half and less than 200 for the game. If SOC's defense was 'death row' then let's come up with a good moniker for PN-G's defense.
