PN-G will be fine. Nothing beats game experience. The DBs will get better with game experience. The coaches rotated kids. #12 came into the secondary, read the QBs eyes, diagnosed the play from the QB roll out and had a beautiful INT and return in the 4Q. The other kids had some good moments, too. #45, #4, #35, #94, and #49 will get after you on defense. You better block #94 or he will blow up the whole the play. It's great to see the Coach McDaniel and the DL coaches rotate fresh legs into the game all night long. I don't keep a play chart, but a lot of kids get some snaps during a game. On offense, #27 and #29 were nice surprises. #15 is a bruiser. Got to hang on to the ball. #16 showed flashes of being a good possession WR. Need more help for #11, but man, he's great. I wouldn't be surprised if teams don't double him. The OL has spoiled PN-G fans...they just wear teams out. In the 3Q and 4Q, PN-G controlled the line of scrimmage and Klein Oak had some big kids on defense. Didn't matter. The Indians OL just steamrolled them. The special teams issues will get worked out. It's game one. NOTHING beats live game action to learn from and get better. Some people sitting around me at the game said a few kids to watch this season are #22, #26, and #27. #27 showed what he could do last night. #22 ran a fly route but the ball was just out of his reach. Enjoyed the band, Indianettes, G-crew, and a great out-of-town PN-G crowd at the game. Good size crowd. IT IS GREAT to see so many kids involved in activities at PN-G. Football, band, Indianettes, G-Grew, the PN-G flags, NDN Press kids taking pictures, and trainers. If you're a kid at PN-G and your not involved in something, then you don't want to be involved. GO INDIANS!
