Yes, the defense is better, way better, than what Indian fans have seen in years, but the difference maker is #19. When the football is in his hands, great things happen, not good things, but great things. He's was a man among boys tonight. WO-S had no answer for him. The PN-G OL can move people off the line of scrimmage and #19 knows where to find the end zone.

No doubt - kid scored almost every time he touched the ball. Straight up beast mode tonight. Tommy Reed showed a lot of heart as well, ran very tough all night. Both RBs ran tough - this whole group of kids played their tails off tonight. Kudos to some old fashioned hard-nosed football!

Wos had 208 yards total
PNG had 389 yards of offense
The Mustangs had 2 plays that totaled 102 of those 208 yards. Otherwise the Indian defense stayed in position, flowed to the ball and made solid tackles all night.

PN-G is trending as a very strong 3rd quarter team. That typically indicates the coaches are adjusting the game plan and that the players come out with intensity and execute. The low output in the 4th reflects non-starters seeing time on the field during the first two games, and in the case of the WO-S game, very conservative play calling.
