PN-G vs West Orange-Stark

The thing is about that game, regardless of any system changes, WO-S still had the offensive speed and quickness that gives PN-G fits every year. Once the ball is in the hands of a runner in space, ability takes over. Difference this year is that the PN-G defense has become, and is becoming more disciplined in their assignments, tackling and pursuit to the ball. They look like a purple wave washing over blockers and moving in unison to the ball carrier. With proper spacing they can reduce those cut back lanes. That allowed them to negate the speed of the Mustangs to a large extent, allowing only 5 plays over 10 yards, and stopping them with solid tackling for negative or no gain about 2/3 of the time. FB Marshall will be the next speed test of this defense. Maybe the greatest challenge so far this season.
