PNG Pre Kickoff Intro Video??

After attending the first three games in the new Indian Stadium I really have no complaints. The stadium is beautiful, the concession stands are accessable, and theres more than enough bathroom stalls. The TV's to watch the game or halftime under the stands while in line are a very nice added touch. Its one of if not the best places to watch a HS football game in the area IMO.

My only issue (and its not a gripe) is the lack of an entrance video before the team runs through on to the field. Something that's similar to what Nederland or LCM has. Nothing would the crowd more fired up and enthusiastic about the game before the opening kickoff than blasting an awesome video. At another level but the same concept is what goes on at the start of most major college games. Watch the videos below to see Texas and Texas A&M's videos:

both have great pregame entrance videos that really gets the crowd going. Heck while looking these up I found some that Mesquite ISD did a great job of putting together for their 3 High Schools:

Imagine what we could have put together involving some of the great history of PNG.

I think we're failing to take advantage of the awesome new screen and sound system at Indian Stadium. It would get the crowd into the game before it even begins.

Another idea to pump up the crowd is when the special teams take the field for the opening kickoff blast this song over the sound system: (click and fast forward to around the 1:50 mark and listen)

his is played in various NFL stadiums before kickoffs and trust me it fires you up!

Imagine after watching a history filled intro video then hearing the above song blasting before the opening kickoff of Mid County Madness this year?? Talk about having the team and the crowd in a frenzy before the game....it would be awesome!!

I second this motion......I would even pitch some funds in to make it happen. That would make the games even funner than they already are. Probably wouldnt be the greatest video at first, but that thing would evolve over the years to be great.

:shout:Ok I think we all say that we want a great intro and some great music !!! We keep chatting about it, but who in the world are the powers that be that will make it happen ? I will donate as well to help it get going ! My opinion is that what they are playing before the game while folks are entering the stadium is really boring. The music at times is like elevator music. They really need to change it up and get the crowd into it more. Heck with nearly 9,000 fans in the stands we need to get them fired up and making alot more noise. A great intro would be wonderful. Use it to our advantage !!!

I believe they may be working on this...I heard they took video of Caleb Harmon and maybe a few others suiting up in their uniforms sometime last week, so maybe we'll see something tomorrow.

Cheermom4--those intro video's were awesome, especially the 1st one. These were made by PN-G students? Those students are really talented and they really captured the essensce of what PN-G is! I still have goose-bumps from listening to that. This is exactly the kind of thing we need on the jumbo-tron. WOW! :clap:

I personally believe that the 1st one and the 3rd one need to be interwoven together.

I just went and opened the video from youtube of Florida State's Seminole Uprising and then I played the 3rd video that was posted on here (the one without sound) and watched it with the Uprising playing in the background. I can describe the whole scenario in one word...AWESOME.

The intro video is one thing but I started looking at other videos this evening and I think it would be very very cool to BLAST the "Zombie Nation" song before the opening kickoff of ballgames, especially MCM. Watch this video played during a Penn State game after a QB sack. This is what an excited pumped up crowd looks like:

Man ,I hope whoever is over the jumbotron ,or whoever is working it for the Ned game will PRACTICE all this week to make it something special to be talked about!!! It has been a disappointment up to this point! It is a very nice scoreboard and video screen ,please PRACTICE!!!
