Texan live stinks. Freezes every 30 seconds and ends entirely around start of 4th quarter. Replay is identical to initial broadcast. Checked numerous other games and none had any problems. PA memorial puts out top notch broadcast on youtube and Texanlive can’t manage to do it for PNG game. Pitiful.

Indians showed the fighting spirit they are known for but have some work to do on both offense and defense. Hopefully will get it worked out before district play with help of tough pre-district games like this one.

Something I've noticed with Texan Live is when alot of folks are tuned into the same game it freezes for some reason, not sure why. As far as the 4th qtr issue I had that happen to me last week with the WOS game, but with the Silsbee game it played all the way through. I know for watching my Titans im sticking with our YouTube channel.

Major props to the PAISD for the YouTube channel. Top notch technology. No problems streaming the game on my end. Great spots showcasing the PAISD students in different educational programs and extra-curricular activities. Well done, PAISD. Thanks to the PN-G fans and the PA fans for providing the link to the YouTube channel. I had no idea that PAISD provided that platform. PN-GISD should follow what PAISD has set-up.

Go Indians. Good luck the rest of the season to PA. Peace.

PN-G has a solid kicking game. Why not try a 50 or 55 yard FG on the last play of regulation? Didn't someone post video on this message board of the FG kicker hitting bombs from 50 yards out? Thoughts? Other opinions?

One other thing. Every year PA has at least one RB and usually two RBs that are out of this world quick. A few years ago, it was #25 and this year it is #2 and #21. Think of what PN-G could do with a quick RB in open space.

Go Indians. Peace.

And #28 is our best RB.

Don't know the quality of teams in the district but probably won't face this level of talent again until the playoffs. Memorial sends a half dozen players or more into scholarship college football every year. This team has 2 UT commits.

It was the first game of a delayed, weird season and both teams looked rough.
The Indians will get it together and look better soon. So will Port Arthur Memorial .

Does anyone know if #48, starter on the Indian D line, was seriously injured? He left the game early with a leg injury.

It’s always a bummer losing any game, but especially the season opener. After watching some of the game a second time, I can say it’s very encouraging how the Indians adjusted and improved as the game played out. In the second half the defense was adjusting to the speed of the Titans and making stops. Although still not firing on all cylinders, partially due to a tough Memorisl defense, the offense was moving. Given the long layoff, unusual offseason, limited scrimmages and other challenges, the slow start was really not surprising. After falling behind 20-0, the Indians out scored Memorial 32-18 to finish out the game. Of course a couple of scores were a result of Titan turnovers, but that’s also an indication of improved special teams. I just hope that #48 Baker isn’t hurt badly.

if the receivers can hang on to the ball, running backs run harder, and defense cleans up the tackling, the results will be much improved.
