Heck yeah
It’s one thing to say
“I’m going to ARMY”
It’s a total other thing to say
“I’m going to West Point”
(I don’t think I knew that until I was grown)

Great to see the offers coming in! Hopefully he will get some power 5 offers coming in as well soon. He clearly has the attention of the academies haha. Air Force is next up :)

You basically graduate as an officer in the service
Not a bad career
If your goal was to retire by 40 that’s how you do it

It says something about the program to get so many offers from the Ivy League
And I consider the military schools as just as good if not better than the IVY league schools
In other news just met a band director from FB Marshall
I told her get ready when the come to the Rez

So are you saying they just basically give you an acceptance to the school and the athlete has to pay the tab? 20 years ago I would say okay (if you can afford it), but not now.

Wonder what kind of offer? Ivy League universities don't award athletic or academic scholarship, only need-based financial aid. I believe being recruited gives an advantage in being considered for admission.
Yes we have a friend who is a tenured professor at UT said without a football “scholarship” he wouldn’t have been accepted into Harvard.
