Marshall could do it. They took TH down to the wire. Huntsville made too many mistakes or they might have had a chance. Can’t make mistakes like that at this point during the playoffs.

We have our hands full with Texas High. It will take our best game of the year to have a shot at a W.

Huntsville did much worse than I thought they would. It could mean SOC is better than I thought, but I strongly suspect that a lot of it had to do with a lack of playoff experience on Huntsville’s part. They seemed to have the jitters, especially the young QB.
They definitely had the jitters 1st Q.
Passing was off a little enough to have more incomplete passes.

Huntsville wide receivers can’t catch a pass. Act like the pass has to hit them in the chest.
Huntsville OC gave up on the pass (wr receivers) and became one dimensional. Not going to run successfully against a stacked defense. Could’ve would’ve Should’ve.

I hope all Huntsville's receivers are under class men and returning next year.

Freshman QB was not the problem. He can scramble to buy time. All the wr receivers are standing flat footed at the end of their routes with a defender standing next to them. Move!!!

Huntsville defense did a good job until poor punting put SOC in excellent short field position over and over.

Marshall take names of that officiating crew. Too many flags picked up on SOC scoring plays and too many phantom flags.

Next week everyone is going to be Fort Bend Marshall fans
Went to the Bastrop vs FB Marshall in Waller 30 minutes from home. FB has that 6’6” QB from last year except he has filled out his frame. Very strong runner and accuracy as a passer has improved significantly. FB has their usual five speedy small WRs. Can you believe WR “Fears” ? From 2022 is still catching TD passes for this team. Too much speed for Bastrop to handle in the passing game. Bastrop defense did a good job stopping the running game except for QB draws.
