Nederland’s enrollment this year was 1565. It’s roughly the exact same as it was 10 years ago. They’re not getting any smaller. If they dont change they will drop in the next couple realignment

Nederland without the down year should dominate a league currently being won by LCM. But yeahN
Nederland already plays 4A Lumberton, West Orange, and Silsbee in the preseason. Those could become district games in the future. Nederland would need new preseason opponents like PNG.
Teams that drop down in classification do not always become the powerhouse you expect in the lower classification.
I think we’ll get moved back. Too many new 5ad2s in region 2.Lumberton, Vidor and Santa Fe all turned in lower than 1200 so all will be 4A D1. Lee will probably choose to play up again. All that said there are a lot of new 5AD2 in DFW this cycle so we may get moved back to R3
Our friends in Sulphur Springs with a big win over #6 Panther Creek to finish 9-1 despite losing their QB1 vs Celina. Would love to see them make a deep playoff run… (the consensus would probably say a rematch vs Panther Creek in R3 is likely baring upsets)We ll be getting Celina up from 4A and possibly Sulphur Springs (interesting)
Good luck to Coach Faircloth!!! He's a good man and coach. He led the PN-G program with Honor, Pride, and Tradition. Things did not work out...change happens...PN-G is happy with Chief Jeff Joseph...Sulphur Springs is happy with Coach Faircloth...and good luck to Coach Faircloth and Sulphur Springs. A lot of focus on SOC opening win over North Shore. North Shore got beat 27-0 by Summer Creek Friday Night.SOC is coasting in their weaker district.
They will be fresh and freer of injuries.
They will demolish weak teams but I think this year a team could surprise them because they haven't been battle tested.
Regardless, both North Shore and Summer Creek will be considered among the contenders in their respective divisions.A lot of focus on SOC opening win over North Shore. North Shore got beat 27-0 by Summer Creek Friday Night.
