Sterling vs PNG game

It was evident that Sterling was going to run in the 2nd half, yet we still couldn't stop them. We need to work on that. Why throw when you can run for 300+ yards???

Sterling will probably be successful running the ball against most teams they play.

The reason Sterling did not throw the ball is that they could not throw the ball. I believe they completed 3 passes all night long. You are dead on we knew they were going to run and had trouble stopping them. I was warned by a few people on the other side of the trinity that Sterlings running attack will be hard for most all teams to handle this year. We will see another attack very similar in PAM later this year if not a better running attack. Hope to see the defense get better each week. Remember this is only our first game after abbreviated practices and only 1 scrimmage. Our defense will get better. One thing I give them credit for the HIT hard last night.
