Sterling vs PNG game

No clue how good Sterling is, but they have a very good running game, and sounded like the Indian defense had some success in slowing them down.

I can't listen to the game. At a work function this evening. Just checking this message board on my phone. What is working well for the Indians? Run game? Pass game? How is the OL protectoin and run blocking? How are we doing on defense and special teams?

Go Indians. I'll check back when I can. Thanks. Peace.

I listened to most of the first half. Sounded like the young offensive line was effective. They mentioned a couple of sophs are starting on the line.

The soph running back Deslatte sounds really good. Had a 67 yard TD run and a lot of other solid runs. Also several long pass plays. Johnson did not run much in the first half.

I have not listened since the score was 28-3.

Sterling has a running back that's probably every bit as good as Memorial's back, if not better.

One thing I would like to see is the team continue to press the pedal on offense even if they have a big lead. At least into the 4th. Just speculation but seems like the intensity level can drop which lets the other team back into the game.

Build up the killer instinct until it's second nature. That will be needed when going up against some opponents.

Final 55-31. Good effort by both teams.

Exciting to think that the Indians are going to get a lot better. With missed practices, scrimmages and missing the first game, they are not even firing on all cylinders yet.

Defense had a good challenge with speedy Sterling backs, and was not blown away.

OK breakdown. Roschon Johnson is deadly accurate o the deep passes. Only one missed the whole game and it went through the receivers hands. Riggs is as fast as anyone in the field so far against all opponents we have played. when we need a score literally they just threw a deep TD to Riggs it was unstoppable literally. Gavin Desolatte is a special back. He loves contact and hits the hole extremely hard. The offensive line needs some work, but they have the potential to be the very best we have had in several years. The defense has the most work to do. The whole bend but don't break works when you score 50 every game. Who knows if you will score 50 every game. This defense has some potential though. The kids hit hard and knocked some heads around. I liked the instincts I saw tonight. Th offensive line will get better it has every single year Coach Medlock has been over them. HIs lines have grown all year and never regressed. This line could be very special by mid season. Roschon is nothing short of spectacular 5 TD passes and 1 TD rush only 6 TDS tonight. Ok, the second half. We held them 3 and out they punted we went 3 and out. We punted. We then held the 3 and out and the had a bad punt that went way short and hit our guy in the back and they fell on it setting them up inside our 40 they then scored on a busted play the very next play. Then on the ensuing kick off they pooch onside kick and recover inside our 40 again. Then they scored again for the last time. Not for them two plays on special teams it would have been a bigger loss for them. Great offensive game by the Indians defensively we were good but not great. We have the makings of a nice playoff team this season. Hell Big Bad crosby went up to Jasper and nearly got beat by 4 a Jasper

Bmt Enterprise article should be titled "Johnson, Riggs lead PN-G past Baytown Sterling"

Someone is always mixing up the two Prestons.

was told by someone very known within the Crosby program that they would have trouble this year.
