UIL realignment 2014

Lost LCM and Livingston and gained Baytown Lee and GCM. Not to bad. I know we've played Baytown Lee in the past, but I don't think we've ever played GCM.

Can't wait for the Schedule to come out, to see who we have in preseason. Think we keep WOS on the schedule.

All in all, a good realignment for us. I'm pumped and can't wait for the new school year! I'll trade the 2 Baytown schools for one trip to Livingston any day of the week.

This will make the district interesting. We could have either a Thursday or Saturday game. All 3 Baytown schools play at Stalworth stadium. I know that GCM has been more competitive in football than Lee as of late. Wonder who we will play pre-district.

Tyler Chappell Hill might be one classification under us but they are legit. They will be playing in likely the toughest, most competitive district in the state of Texas. The top 4 teams are Carthage, Tyler Chappell Hill, Kilgore, and Henderson. That district is going to be an all out slugfest. If we are playing Tyler Chappell Hill, our boys better strap'em up and get ready for a ball game!

Good thing is we drop that crap pasture in Livingston for a nice healthy stadium thats easy to get to in Baytown. GCM beat Lumberton by 3 last year. Thats 3 points not 3 TDs. Lee has dropped off the HS football map since Olin left.
Still cant figure out how you drive past BH to get to Baytown!!!

Yeah I agree. You have to drive past BH to get into Baytown. My thoughts are maybe someone played a card. I guess you could say it atleast keeps some rivalries going in that district.

From what I've heard, we will most likely play halfway between here and Tyler Chapel Hill...SFA has been thrown around, but no definite location has been set. Umm...football season hurry please! :)

I've driven this way MANY times as my wife's family is from the Tyler area. I would say that the largest high school stadium between Tyler and the Golden Triangle is probably Lufkin.

SFA, however, is not even close to a halfway point.

I was only passing on the information I received...and I think we ALL are glad to get away from Livingston and "Reba"

Any Scrimmages set up yet? What about spring ball? I know we didn't do it last year. Missed it, but perfectly understandable due to baseball.

Baseball issues from last year will existe for the next several years. So I doubt we see spring ball again anytime soon.
May see Tyler CH at Bowers in Huntsville. Bout halfway for both (little closer to Tyler).
