Week 10- JV and Freshman scores

Wow!!! Freshman Purple and JV feasted on the Ganders. Great job INDIANS!!! Nice win by the Freshman White team vs. Hamshire Fannett. Glad to see so many kids getting opportunties to play and get better!!!

It will be Flako I would imagine. He has been being prepared since he got here to be the feature back. Him and his brother transferred from Nederland a couple of seasons ago. They were to be Nederlands future. His older brother plays WR for us now but is a natural DB which we will need next season. He is really good at DB.

Remember that name Mason Werner. I don't know him, but all season have been hearing great things from my co-workers about his outstanding o line play. He is quick and agile and from what little I have seen very aggressive. Usually ending in a pancake. He also must be quick. They have him constantly pulling and lead blocking well into the second level which he does very well. The kiddo has a nice skill set. Not sure on size yet as I have not been close enough to really tell. I have seen a few highlights though and he is fundamentally sound at his job.

If the JV and Freshmen teams win this week, will they be district champions? If yes, and presuming the varsity Indians win on Friday night, PN-G will be district champions at all three levels, correct? Please feel free to update or correct. Thanks. GO INDIANS!!!

Don't know about JV, but the Freshman have not lost this year. They tied Brenham (non-district) and they tied Dayton. So, at the very least for freshman is a shared District Championship.

I coached many of the current freshman and 8th graders starting at the flag level until middle school. When I say they’re special, that’s an understatement. I’d argue it’ll be two of the most talented classes that PNG has had together. Wessen Goodridge and Cecil Phillips, along with Ethan Jackson (8th graders groves), remember those names. The RB future at PNG is in good hands. Trust me
