I am sure he was told not to kick it deep...Me personally I don't like it ..I would rather take my chances of pinning them deep and them getting a decent return every once in a while ..then just kicking it short ,,,even though sometimes they are hoping on a fumble ........I still don't like it,if you are that scared of not being able to stop the run back...put personnel in that will knock some helmets off........not saying the ones in there can't... but to me it shows that the coaches don't think so....I am no coach,JMOFormer NDNette said:Starting kicker has been back. Maybe he was told not to kick it deep.
I know there is a reason for it , and i know that Dylan can kick the ball through the uprights on kick off ......I would never put these boys are coaches down ...I just like the excitement of a deep kick....but in all reality .I just want to keep winning ....this year has really been fun...and if they want to kick short every time and we win..then keep it up......Former NDNette said:I spoke with his dad, he was told to kick it short and high. I'm sure Coach has his reasons for doing that....and they worked. I really don't think it's cause he was of being able to stop the run back...they've proved they can.
