Who wins 22-5A this year?

Good to see Mid-County, Beaumont and Port Arthur teams playing each other again.

22-5A will be an interesting lineup with PAM among the largest 5A schools in the state, and Lumberton, Ozen and Livingston some of the smallest of the 260 5A schools in TX, or 261 if you consider Livingston's attendance correction. Clear numbers advantage goes to PAM.

Speaking of numbers, Central is down 307.5 from 1778.5 in 2014 to 1471 in 2016. What's the story behind the drop?

Attendance - 260 5A Schools

I expect Ned vs PAM to be a good game, but don't assume PAM gets the win just by numbers. Y'all still have X-box over there . ;D

5 straight DCs , 6 straight over the injuns, if PAM wants it they will have to come get it! Ned doesn't fear anyone. :)

well seeing how GCM wasn't scared two years straight I reckon PA Memorial will be just fine. :pistols:

All I see is a team that got beat by Ozen and has the same coach and QB. A team that both Ned and PNG beat. ;D :punchingbag:

1pt win at the buzzer, unlike Ned vs GCM the past 2 years. You right same coach, might not be the same QB, we'll see. :pistols:

The game against either Mid-County team will be a good one. When PAM travels to Port Neches they'll experience playing in front of a playoff like atmosphere again.

One out of how many? I am pretty sure TJ didn't beat Ned from 1995 on. Lincoln's win was the first in several years.

I am thinking PNG, Nederland, Central and PAM in no particular order. With Lumberton and Vidor as always outside threat. Do not know anything about Livingston. I have heard that Johnson is going to be our starter.....

More like 22-5A will welcome Memorial to it's new district.

A 6A team oughta do ok playing against tiny 5A schools. No worries right?
