Good to know. Looks like we’ll have about four speedy receivers. Hopefully we’ll actually scheme them open rather than the simple “single receiver runs a post” we did with Nunley in most games. Brisboe was on defense last year, wasn’t he?

He played wide receiver on varsity as a sophomore, but since the depth was small on cornerbacks last year, he had to switch positions. He didn’t look as comfortable at CB, but now that he’s back at wide receiver, he’s definitely going to be a big threat.
 
After further clarification, the former player with the abundance of speed did not move back. I think he played at Port Neches or Groves middle school in the past.
 
Speaking of basketball boys, I didn't see Johnathan Cayetano (6'7" 230 - 2027) at the scrimmage. He was playing TE in spring ball but haven't seen him since. I wonder if he changed his mind, or someone changed it for him?
 
This season is going to be particularly meaningful

Football was the main thing we could chat about with no other obstacles

Tonight I’m going to see HIS Alma Mater play (Warren Warriors all district LB 1956/1957)
Vs Hardin
Was looking for a close Thursday game to catch and whaddayaknow a SUPER RARE 3A Thursday game just happens to be Warren at Hardin (Warren is 2 hrs vs Hardin being less than an hour.) quite a coincidence

He was injured and will not play this year.
