Final: Port Neches-Groves Indians 45, Klein Oak Panthers 20

I personally don’t hate the light shows and extra noise to me it gets the students much more involved and exited for Friday nights I personally wouldn’t hate to see us try something similar. On the other hand I do understand why some may dislike it especially in the older crowd sometimes if over done it can be incredibly annoying and it takes away from the band and other student led groups, it’s about finding a sweet spot enough to get the younger generation excited and involved on Friday's but also a way to not ruin the experience for others and not take away from other students.
I like where your trying to go with this.
Something new might be a good thing even if I'm an old timer :)

Good take but it’s not about age. For example, I might be considered ‘old’ but what I do every day, career, physical activity and interests, would put many younger people to shame. And what I’m capable of. A lot of us are just purists and don’t want to see and hear a disco show at the game. But if that point of view makes me an old timer, I’ll gladly accept the title. ;) To each his own.

lol I was just saying in general most people really affected by the noise and the lights are older, I’m younger and it’s even to much for me sometimes but everyone’s different I just think we should think about adding something similar just to get our students more involved. Im also a football purist I wish we could just keep the gritty bare bones football with the band and the noise makers but sadly times have changed kids are seeing Allen high school with they’re drones and A&M walking out to Kanye etc I think it’s time for PNG to implement some things I’m not saying go ALL out like La Porte just some small additions.

It’s not an age thing for me. It’s a “traditionalist” thing. I have no problem with loud noise or bright lights. I just prefer the noise and lights to be related to football and especially the game I am watching. Anything “new” that would be related to football and/or the game I am watching would be fine by me and could potentially enhance the game.

All good takes.

Spot on. It’s not meant to be an NBA game experience. Please don’t try to fill every moment with ‘entertaining’ sounds from the sound package you were sold with the PA/Video system. Let the high school bands entertain. The lighting effects are cool as long as not overdone. Like UsedToCould said, don’t ever go completely dark. That might compromise vision and cause someone to misstep and tumble down the bleachers while walking.
