Sounds like something the UIL and NFHS will be interested in.So, they can broadcast their playoff game on YouTube but we can’t?

Well, according to this it sounds like Academic STUDENT LED Broadcasts on YouTube or other platforms will still be allowed IF APPROVED. Maybe the UIL received a lot of backlash so this could be a new development because I don’t think PNGISD and NDN Press would’ve gone with NFHS unless it was the ONLY option.Sounds like something the UIL and NFHS will be interested in.

I'd file a complaint with the UIL. Bring the receipts. Not sure why the UIL would get involved in this anyway!Highly suspect. I would be asking alot of questions of the UIL.
But the PNG Youtube broadcasts did have a lot of advertising and advertising logos.
Good question. My guess would be NFHS based on the fact that it is an official NFHS broadcast so it seems like they would have to play some part in it. But either way I’m sure the broadcasts will be good.So is the camera crew going to be from NFHS or NDN Press?
Kaiden, you're the best! After 2 years and 29 games of being able to do the games on YouTube with 0 restrictions the UIL saw the benefit they could make from student led broadcasts like ours. Thankfully we got an opportunity to continue the NDN Presscast on NFHS Network for the REST of playoffs! We would love all of y'all's support and can't wait to bring y'all the BEST coverage of Indian football!

PNG Admin needs to contact the UIL for an explanation. Didn't NDN Press do playoffs last year? All I know is if the YouTube broadcasts continue from other schools after this week then the UIL definitely owes PNG and all others who were told it would NOT be allowed an explanation! I could be wrong but IF it does continue with no repercussions then I’d say the answer is pretty clear that they’re just trying to capitalize off “wealthier” programs like PNG with an already established LARGE online fan base because they KNOW we’ll pay!!

They supposedly changed the rules, but it was always suspicious to me. Also strange to me is that we are the only STUDENT LED broadcast I am aware of, and it seems to me like that is exactly the type of thing that should be ENCOURAGED by the UIL (I am sure there are probably others but it appears to be pretty rare).PNG Admin needs to contact the UIL for an explanation.
