This would thrill me beyond belief mark my words that program is going to explode and the area I believe will support the team

After years of having a Jr college (my grandfather played football for Texarkana College) TXK is slowly becoming a “college town” ETSU-T became A&M-T and moved the entire campus to the Pleasant Grove area (from near Texas High area) and it’s growing like crazy -started with baseball (from a serious baseball town) and now that it’s moving its focus to football it’s only a matter of time - my vote (if I had one) make the PNG pipeline to A&M-T a solid one (hey if they’re going to pay attention to us go with it - no one else is.
Busted.https://texashsfootball.com/bryson-...1bSrkLqmu521ivNmnE_aem_jaIMgs9BHvacZga4u2e5Jg, DFW area schools always working the edges
So as long as they are moving from another DFW school, no problem. The UIL throws out a bone every so often to pretend that they are doing the right thing.
And there are apparently some wanting to loosen things up even more!!https://texashsfootball.com/bryson-...1bSrkLqmu521ivNmnE_aem_jaIMgs9BHvacZga4u2e5Jg, DFW area schools always working the edges
That is exactly what happened, couldnt have said it better myself. The UIL throws out a bone every so often to pretend that they are doing the right thing.
Its already happening, how in the world is it legal for that QB to go to Aledo?!?! Only thing a portal will change is now they dont have to use Loopholes. This is insane. You now have people wanting everything to change just so they can ‘get ahead’. Disgusting.

'Transfer portal' could come to Texas high schools. Coaches are concerned.
Families see opportunity. Coaches see chaos. Texas high school sports may get more professionalized before we know it.www.chron.com
Right - It’s ridiculous to have them play normal teams and the rest of us have to pretend they’re winning legit homegrown championships. If you want an all-star team you have to win an all-star championship. Certain teams aren’t even willing to step on the field unless they start out holding all the cards. They’re wanting for ESPN to cover TXHS games and collecting stars helps that
Friday “programming” is weak for sports so…
$$$
Fine
But don’t compete with the homegrown teams - that will destroy the system.
A HS league would sell better than the disaster that is the UFL
I don’t know why I’m smarter than the executives who are running that fiasco.
Dave Campbell and UIL might be pretending, but I am not.Right - It’s ridiculous to have them play normal teams and the rest of us have to pretend they’re winning legit homegrown championships. What a bunch of shortsighted idiots to even be considering such a thing. Should be heading in the opposite direction. This is insane. You now have people wanting everything to change just so they can ‘get ahead’. Disgusting.
