Recruiting

After years of having a Jr college (my grandfather played football for Texarkana College) TXK is slowly becoming a “college town” ETSU-T became A&M-T and moved the entire campus to the Pleasant Grove area (from near Texas High area) and it’s growing like crazy -started with baseball (from a serious baseball town) and now that it’s moving its focus to football it’s only a matter of time - my vote (if I had one) make the PNG pipeline to A&M-T a solid one (hey if they’re going to pay attention to us go with it - no one else is.
I can’t remember if I sent this HC an e mail or not I might have (about PNG players)

I think the only solution is to have a super league
Duncanville SOC North Shore Carthage (ETx Longview Tyler etc)
Then any team that wants to accept open tryouts in an area like Odessa/Midland
San Antonio etc and compete

Then leave the pure schools to compete within the old rules.

You can have all the rules in the world, but none will force character and ethical behavior. Some coaches/schools will always try to beat the system to their advantage. They laugh and scoff at the rules and standards.

In the grand scheme, they may collect some trophies but are the true losers. Whatever they accomplish has an asterisk next to it.
