What a lot of people do not understand is that those kids can transfer schools all they want, they just can't/shouldn't be allowed to transfer for athletic purposes. The UIL athletic system is not set up for that; there are other schools/divisions that are. There are private schools all over the country that allow transfers for athletic purposes. Apparently, coaches and some UIL members do not understand THIS concept either. They are masters at using Loopholes to allow transfers to stack their teams. IF they wanted to get out of their current school for a better opportunity/better schools then they could do that no problem, but most of these kids/parents are chasing a championship and UIL is designed to prevent that.Of course he doesn’t believe in common sense rules that take away his advantages. It takes having access to all the players from the second largest district in the state, and all the out of district transfers he can gather to win.
