    PN-G Quarterback Greats

I think the problem started at the college level. When the spread became the norm in Texas, we stopped producing top quality defensive linemen at the same rate as other states that haven't embraced it. If you look at a map of where the best defensive linemen in the country come from, the top...

It probably varies from district to district. I recall a master's being a preference when PN-G posted the position after Burnett's reassignment, but I doubt that's a universal preference and probably rarely a requirement.

I don't know why we ever got away from that, then.

Sometimes, I think it would be appropriate for PN-G to do what UT did with separate men's and women's athletics directors. We've had at least a half dozen HC/ADs in the time that Comeaux's been at PN-G. And I feel virtually certain she has a better understanding of what the girls' sports teams...

It's also seldom discussed that Barbara Comeaux is probably the best overall coach PN-G's ever had in any sport.

At this rate, the volleyball team may make a deeper playoff run than the football team.

PNGs Oline could be a good one

That's called "wishful thinking." Year in and year out, everybody wants to see the team everybody knows about fail.

No doubt. If I recall correctly, Jeremiah got a little college attention?

Yes, I do remember Jeremiah. We didn't know each other that well because if I recall correctly, he was a year or two younger than I was. But I remember seeing him around the hallways. I had to take freshman communications my senior year because of a scheduling problem and I think he was in that...

I took a look and I guess he doesn't. I thought I'd heard through the grapevine that Alabama was taking a look at him, but I must've mixed it up with Jaylen Garth's offers. That's what I get for not paying enough attention to this site anymore. I understand why he wants to be in Austin. Let him...

Echoing what was stated above, I have a little personal history involved here, too. Many, many moons ago, a full-blooded Cherokee maiden whose parents were on the Trail of Tears made her way out of the reservation in Oklahoma by working as a servant in a home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. In 1867...

PNG vs Port Arthur Memorial 10/13/17

Last night was the first time I've gotten to attend a PN-G home game in two years. I couldn't have picked a better time to come back to the Reservation. Very proud of the people in purple, both on the field and in the stands. I'd put that game up as the best one played anywhere in the state last...

    New Superintendent?

I work for a prominent state official these days and can say confidently that there's nothing to be worried about on this point. The only districts facing consolidation issues right now are in Houston, and the consolidation part is over with.

What about the Alabama Coushatta Indians? They have a reservation near Livingston. It's one of the few in the state.

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
