    Not only that, but running, jumping and otherwise disorderly kids are highly likely to eventually injure themselves or an innocent bystander, causing a liability issue for the school district. It's definitely in the district's best interest to be proactive about this situation.

    I will agree that it can appear somewhat disconcerting to see the Indians milling around while the opposing team takes a knee. It seems there could be some kind of compromise worked out to where PN-G doesn't appear disrespectful in comparison... even though they're not actually disrespecting...

    JV loses to Lumberton JV 28-30

    Peveto was ruled eligible by the UIL and was moved up to varsity this week along with Grantham and a couple of others. We really missed them last night, but once the kids on JV have a little more time to adjust to their new positions, we'll be fine, still lots of talent there.

    We say by the band and heard them just fine during the game, but not so much at halftime. There was a house party going on on the street behind the visitors stands, and during PN-G's halftime performance all we could hear was them blaring "Who Let the Dogs Out" at top volume, over and over and over.
