FINAL: PN-G Indians 39, Huntsville Hornets 29

Opponent Defenses are making adjustments to fill gaps. Watch NFL defensive counters to the tushpush.
Teams made adjustments, or tried to, for the past 3 years, especially in '23 with Shea at the QB/wildcat. It's still good to do it though, so that the variations work better. Even so, without any data I'd guess that #14 is 90% successful from the wildcat so far this season. Anyway I'm just glad to hear he isn't injured, that's the main thing.

One more side comment wrt tush push type plays, Hardin did it all night long this past Thursday against East Chambers, and EC never did adjust. They didn't stack the box, or anything else to even slow it down. I guess some coaches try to make adjustments, and some don't.

With any goal line defense the gaps are covered by down lineman with linebackers coming over the top. Mano a mano. PN-G line is going to win that the majority of the time.

With the UIL rule change to allow press box coach to relate an audible to the sideline coach it is difficult for an opponent defense to overload.

Barnwell had an ice pack on his knee and was on crutches. Looked like Henry may have tweaked his ankle one too many times. He had similar issues last year I think. Incredible effort by him in the game running behind a bad a** offensive line that beat down Huntsville’s defense by game end.
To me it looked like there was funny business going on at the bottom of the pile which I guess goes on

You can see on the Huntsville KSAM broadcast that Barnwell’s left leg got rolled up from behind. Nothing sinister but no less painful and potentially damaging. NDN Press broadcast seemed to block that section.

I’ll be surprised if he’s not out at least a couple weeks.

I saw it today on Victory+ actually an excellent broadcast.

I watched the Victory+ broadcast, 2nd half of the ndn press, and Huntsville broadcast a few times... trying to put it all together... #99 it seems it was honest.
But here was a lot of jawing from HV in the 2nd half when momentum changed. So we respond and intensity grows. IMO overall a good game. Called like normal.... even saw where the ref hit our coach up after an extra long block cause we were amped like them. Seemed to all even out
