FINAL: SOC 28, PNG 0

First…I’m SO PROUD to be a PNG INDIAN!! No matter what the scoreboard, their players, coaches, or fans say….our defense punched SOC in the mouth and had the offense executed better and been 100%, I feel pretty confident the outcome would’ve been MUCH different!!
Second…here’s some words of wisdom posted by 15 y/o PNG student about the behavior of GROWN ADULTS after the game! Saw quite a few others experienced similar incidents as well! View attachment 1821
Third…I’m SICK of this crap…it has happened EVERY year and WE get labeled as being “whiners” “racist” or “sore losers” for complaining about it but many PNG fans, including my son and I were harassed after we BEAT them in 2023! Sadly, stuff like this seems to always get ignored until something REALLY bad happens!!
I watched the game of Melissa vs SOC and it seemed to me that some SOC players were taunting the Melissa team as they were coming out of the tunnel. During the first half of the game there were several confrontations between the two teams which resulted in players being physically removed from the field. At one point there were Coaches, Administrators and police officers on the field. I am so proud of the Indians holding it together when they themselves were getting the SOC treatment!

Same thing happened in the Desoto-Willis game. Multiple police officers and the coaching staff were on the field talking to Desoto players. Intimidation and taunting like that should result in serious penalties and even ejections.

The sad part is they are talented enough to not have to do it. Unfortunately I believe it comes from the top down. You can watch the way there coaches are acting on the sidelines. I’m glad that we have a coaching staff that teaches them to be competitive but also good sportsmanship.

Yeah, BOTH teams were very undisciplined! Melissa just couldn’t maintain their composure cause they let SOCs antics and bully ball tactics get to them! These kids just think taunting the opposing team’s players, sideline, fans and other unsportsmanlike behavior is cool cause they see College and Pro athletes doing it all over social media but it should NOT be allowed in high school sports…PERIOD!! It’s just gonna get worse unless the officials start penalizing teams for it!

PN-G players Benoit, Winfrey, Turpin, Brashers, Wolford, Reeves, and many others were just knocking the snuff out of their players with good old fashioned football hits. Not intimidated one bit by the cubs non-football behavior. Watching that unnecessary behavior quickly gets old. All they’re doing is tainting any success they have.

Just a coincidence that the ones this article talks about are in the championship right now.

“The numbers behind the transfers

Athletes who transfer tend to end up at schools that are successful, no matter their reason for moving. Over the last three years, the UIL processed a combined 509 PAPF forms for all sports for South Oak Cliff (180), DeSoto (138), Duncanville (114) and Anna (77), according to information obtained through an open records request.

Those were the four Dallas-area schools that played in a UIL football state championship game last season. Those same schools added perhaps the four best football players who transferred from one D-FW school to another during the offseason.”

Everything we’ve been saying is 1000% true. Working the system. Any championship won deserves an asterisk. Every game played is tainted.
Thats my point, if UIL will not do anything then the public should at least know that their championships are not really earned.

Maybe we will see the integrity levels of the governing organization and the media that claims to be the bible of Texas football. Will they stand up for all the students, communities and schools that act with honor and integrity, choosing not to work the system, or let a few abuse the system for their own gain? Will the ‘South Dallas Saturday’ talk include mentions of this reality? We shall see.

But none of them are transferring for ATHLETIC reasons though….no way, absolutely NOT cause that would be against the rules and EVERYONE tells the TRUTH on the PAPF form!

In my honest opinion I don’t have as much of a problem with the recruiting as I do with the OBVIOUS DFW favoritism.Without a shadow of a doubt those 4 schools are recruiting or at the VERY least taking on Athletic transfers either way it’s against the rules but the UIL turns a blind eye to it and at the same time will punish some random school in the boonies for EXACTLY what SOC and the others are doing!!

The UIL knows if they make recruiting legal state wide those DFW schools no longer have ANY advantage,Kids and parents are more likely to go to Schools that give a better education AND have a good football team “PNG,South Lake Carroll,Allen etc”.Why the DFW favoritism exists I have no clue,Maybe a attempt to bolster state championship ticket sales since it’s only in Dallas?
