Unfortunate for a great Grapevine team, program and community. But rules are rules and there is good reason for them.
In comparison, this illustrates and emphasizes how the Dallas ISD and their very different attendance policies provides advantages to schools within that district by allowing district wide (1M+ population) participation. The Grapevine situation would have been business as usual in Dallas. “Rules for thee, but not for me.” Manufactured success.
Grapevine head coach Jimmy Webster went on to say, “We refuse to compromise our commitment to the rules and the values of honesty and sportsmanship.”

With playoffs set to start today (or sometime this week) suddenly several different teams will be facing different teams than they expected with little time to prepare for them.So we had Grapevine in d2
Moves Colleyville Heritage down to div 2 since Denton Ryan gets in and is larger (to D1 with Birdland)(who names these towns)
(I believe) I’ve had to delete one post due to not being correct lol.
