I am actually a little surprised by this. I thought we had a better record against them.

Also the gap 1969 all the way to 2007. 38 year gap between games. The 1961 team lost a State Championship game. 21-14 to Wichita Falls. They lost at State in 1964 Garland 26 Galena Park 21. They have a lot of history.

Galena Park football also started in 1925 but has had much less success. Only five 10 win seasons and a 9-18-0 playoff record.

Like Baytown Lee, their better years are in the past. The best players in that district are surely at North Shore.
