The reviews for the visitor side are very bad.Great stadium, seats lots on people and you sit on the hills around the stadium! I remember playing jacksonville Indians there years ago, very loud PNG crowd that game!!
Indian Nation chanting Who Are We! PNG prior to kickoff got to the other fans.PNG will be the visitors. It’s a nice stadium. Plenty of room. Bring a stadium seat. Should be a great spot for a great game. Weather next Friday? Please go to the game in-person. It makes a difference. Last week’s crowd was not very big for a PNG playoff game, but we were loud, especially when the Indians had the second half mojo, and we made a difference. We need to double or triple that effort for this week. Go Indians!
Last week, I thought about staying home when I heard ndn press was broadcasting the game, but on game day I decided to go instead! I called my brother in Houston and told him I was going to the game and he said he and girlfriend was leaving to go to the game around 1 pm. I even got a hotel room.I used google maps and drove on 2 way roads for almost 4+ hour trip, I left at 230 and got there at 630. My brother said it took him 5 hrs. Being there with the Real fans, being Loud, was the difference in the game!!!! After the game I told my brother when leaving the game , I would have been mad about not going if i had decided not to go. A BIG LOUD CROWD really fires up our team!!! If you can go, Please go!!I was Proud of our FANS!!!Indian Nation needs to mobilize. The YouTube broadcast is great, but if you can be there, be there. Give someone a ride. Get a ride. You can’t be loud from your living room. I understand health issues and work/family obligations, but to the extent you aren’t kept from traveling by something like that, we need the 12th Man to show up. Ask Texas High about how loud we can be. This isn’t a “I’ll watch from my recliner” week. This isn’t a “it looks like rain, maybe I won’t go” week. This is an old-fashioned, bring-your-umbrella-and-tough-it-out-with-your-team week. Wet butts dry; championships are forever. We wanted to play them outside of Dallas. Here they are. Let’s get loud.
Homer Bryce Stadium at Stephen F Austin State University (not the Nacogdoches highschool stadium)So it will be at Dragon Stadium?
Teenager you are speaking to adults. Save the adrenaline for the game. Got to love the jubilant youth.Kill is a bit too much for me but definitely get the hunting theme.
Let's win it.
Thanks for coming. I think I passed your brother on the way to the game. Five hours on the road well worth it from Katy. It’s about both the journey and the destination. What a game to add to PNG lore.Last week, I thought about staying home when I heard ndn press was broadcasting the game, but on game day I decided to go instead! To me #49 was the runner up for Defensive MVP in last year’s State Championship game. His sacks and TFLs in that game were essential. They have been rotating him with #45 to keep them fresh. What do you think about Andres Fuentes? He’s been having a pretty good senior season in my opinion.
Excellent. Watched game Replay on PNG NDN Press. 32000 views so far. Over 8000 following the game live.Alright folks, I don’t need to tell y’all how big this game is. A rematch of the last two 5ADII state championships speaks for itself.
The crowd will play a crucial role in this game. SOC’s fans only really show up for the state championship. Traditionally, they have not travelled well outside the Metroplex. Many who attended last year’s state championship, myself included, believe the crowd’s effect on the field in the second half was indispensable to the comeback. All hands are needed on deck this year, too.
Nacogdoches is only a little over two hours from PN-G, roughly the same distance as the playoff games we played in Katy and Cypress the last two seasons. It’s a college town with plenty to do and plenty of places to stay. (I personally recommend the Fredonia hotel.)
The weather will be a little chilly, but no colder than last Friday and the chance of rain is low.
Y’all know the mission. Sell it out.
Why can’t PNG Booster Club help Organize Charter Buses to the Game? Fill the stands. Now is the time to organize events. Plenty of charter buses available divert a few from the casinos.Indian Nation needs to mobilize. The YouTube broadcast is great, but if you can be there, be there. Give someone a ride. Get a ride. I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever. -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
