Didn't Huntsvilles starting QB get injured? Weren't they starting a freshman in the Nederland game? Was QB1 back for SOC game? If not, SOC played a different Huntville team.
Huntsville's starting QB did get hurt and their backup QB started against Nederland. There was no drop-off in talent there. Actually, an upgrade. He had been seeing significant time running the ball in the backfield all season.

I don’t think upgrade
The Sr QB I believe was a better dual threat QB
but I do agree not a huge upgrade
Maybe in some of the decision making

(Meant to say not a huge downgrade instead of upgrade)

Upgrade until it mattered the most. Then lack of experience really hurt during SOC game. I think that the relative lack of playoff experience for the team as a whole also hurt, as they seemed to lose poise at several key points during that game.

PNG needs to survive SOC's initial wave of emotion. The Bears will walk out angry, motivated, prepared, and hyped for revenge. If the Indians can withstand that initial wave of intensity and emotion and let the game settle down down while still being tied or within striking distance, then game on. The game plan is the same as the 2023 state championship---finish drives with points, take care of the football, stay away from penalties, run the ball, control the tempo and clock, catch the ball when we do throw it, and squeeze the game down to a few possessions. Keep it close, roll the dice, get a little luck, and see what happens. It worked last time. Let's give it another shot. GO INDIANS!
The winning strategy is also basically the same as during the TH game. Keep it fairly close during the first half, wear them down with an effective run game and timely passes, and put them in an unfamiliar position where we have consistently found a way to win during the Joseph era. The main difference between this game and the TH game (which was also true during both SC games vs SOC) is that we may not be able to afford to have any turnovers or other major mistakes in this game.

This Indian fan is really feeling positive vibes about this game. Anyone else?

Let’s all bring a purple tsunami into Homer Bryce Stadium. And make a lot of relentless noise for 4 quarters. 12th man matters.

SCALP EM!
I think we match up well with em, the deciding factor will be their Oline and our Dline, let's see who wins.
