I didn’t even notice with all of the broadcast disruptions, but after watching the replay on the Kaufman youtube channel I realized they scored all of their points in the 4th quarter. So the backups actually played better than I originally thought. It was interesting that the Kaufman broadcasters apparently didn’t do their homework regarding us at all. With the exception of our QB, they seemed largely unaware that we were playing backups for much of the game. They even repeatedly described #6 as our “starting” RB (lol).

Yea they even questioned our "character" after our running back ran the ball on first down with a minute to go not even realizing that we had 2nd & 3rd team in for more than a half of football. We could have blown them out 80 to zero.

Went to their website and they seem very how should I say it...."woke". I am sure they were appalled that they had to play the "Indians". It just felt soooooo dirty.
Maybe that's why their band didn't do much at halftime. A recorded song played over the PA system, marched on the field to play the fight song, and ran to the sideline to jump around and pound on the drums. Shortest halftime performance I've ever witnessed.

Had to get off that dirty field ASAP and not play in front of the heathens wearing purple. :D

Just kidding Kaufman. Although being judgmental can have repercussions. But I'm going to assume that most Kaufman students and fans are fine people and not like that.

Those characterless 3rd stringers. How dare they take an opportunity to play in front of a playoff crowd after practicing in the heat and humidity of SE Texas for 4 months. He should have immediately dropped to the turf and curled into a fetal position so as not to offend anyone. ;)

If there were any doubts about the abilities and the potential of this year's PN-G team, they should have been settled last night.

We ran 9-1 during the regular season this year, winning the district title in arguably the state's toughest 5ADII district and scoring major wins over very talented 5ADII, 5ADI and 6A teams along the way. Last night, we were up 42-0 at halftime over a good team from the Metroplex fielding a star wide receiver committed to OU who couldn't find his way into the endzone until the fourth quarter. Our starting defense gave its most stellar performance of the season to date--and maybe the most stellar performance of any defense in the state this week. Our starting offense hummed like a well-oiled machine.

The 2024 PN-G Indians are just as capable of playing for and winning a state title as they were in 2022 and 2023. If the Indian Faithful show up in our typically rabid fashion, we can boost their odds the same way we have the last two seasons running.

If Texarkana Texas High wins tonight as predicted, rumor has it we will play them next week in Natchitoches, Louisiana--the same place we lost to the Tigers in 2021. The Indians will enter this game as underdogs, ranked #7 in the state to Texas High's #3. I smell an opportunity for an upset and a little Thanksgiving payback. (I might smell a little gumbo in the near future, too.)

In the meantime, y'all enjoy the holiday, keep the car gassed up, and as per usual, always be faithful. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

I was thinking the same thing after last night's game. We have one hell of a tough district and we won it. Last night PNG was firing on all cylinders and looked ready to rumble. Bring it on TH.

I could not find anything on the Roar TV. I guess they have taken that video down or made private.

We will have to double team #3 Ball at slot sacrifices something else but if he catches the ball in space on a slant he’s gone bye bye

This will be the game to watch
They are a big play offense they rely on a couple of first downs then the 50-60 yard RAC or RB run.
I’ll be sad to watch either team go out this next week.

Kaufman made some plays but had trouble getting into the end zone. Kaufman's WRs dropped two passes and one pass that was poorly thrown over the WR all of which could have resulted in TDs early in the game.
