LH tried something similar with passing game tonight. Fortunately pass was overthrown. On viewing LH vs Pieper game, LH burned them with bomb early and also with pass for key first down with trick play. Also tried shovel pass during fake punt that was unsuccessful. We need to be ready for those types of things, but I think we will be. LH jumped out to 21-0 lead and Pieper could never recover. They did pull to within 21-14 by halftime, and they also shut LH down pretty good in the second half (only 7 points). However, they were shut out by LH in the second half, resulting in the final score of 28-14. I think the key to this game involves our defense because our offense is much more balanced than Pieper’s (they passed on almost every play). We should be able to score plenty of points against them, so the only question is how many can LH score? If we can hold them close to our average or even slightly above it (e.g., even 21 points), I feel very confident about the outcome.
The middle of the defense seems wide open....throw there.I didn’t feel good about that half. And we are usually hotter in the first half - so I’m kinda worried
Surely they are looking for an on side kick to start the second half...Gotta play better in second half. Too close for me. I knew they were going to try that fake punt and we were not ready for it (tried same thing against Pieper but were not successful). Also, way too many penalties at the end of the half. We really need a TD to start the half, and we can’t let up after that.

Better be. They know they have to pull out all the stops…and they will.Surely they are looking for an on side kick to start the second half...
True, but I'm talking about 15-20 yards over the middle not 40 yard sideline routes....We were close to completing several big passes in the first half…but you know what they say about horseshoes and hand grenades.

Something a little more high percentage.
Again, I’m kinda concerned about some of our play calling
