There were several Texas City players at the game tonight. TC played Manvel tough something like 28-3 something like that. Waltrip was undefeated TC beat them by 10 but the small Houston schools are lucky to have a program at all sometimes. And they only played inside district I believe. (Waltrip)

21-0 i believe it was. Kinda crazy when you think about the firepower Manvel has. Then again: Ball High beat them in OT 41-40, weird. Either we both have our hands full with the Galveston County schools or we will blowout both of em.

I really want to just say one thing. Watching RJ on the field is something special. Something that most schools never get to experience. He isn't a once in a generation player. He might be the "once for your program ever" player. If you haven't been able to make it to a game to see him in the purple and white, you have to make every effort possible to see him represent our school.

Does anyone have the stats box for the PN-G v. Crosby game? It should be interesting to read the first downs made, rushing yards, overall passing stats Completions/Attempts/Ints and passing yards, penalty yards, fumbles/turnovers, and the individual stats, too. What a game. It reads like a basketball score.

Keep it rolling Indians. On to Texas City and NRG Stadium.

Go Indians. Peace.

When are we going to make Defensive coaching philosophy or changes? Sat with some buddies last night who has seen Crosby play said there defense was bad stated PNG has the worst fundamentally coached defensive they’ve ever seen. All 3 of them coach at a high ranked 6A school felt sorry for our defense for not being in the right position to play real defense.

Stated they’d been unloaded the bench to find people who wanted to play defense since we wasn’t stopping Crosby anyway.
One of my buddies called almost every play almost walked on field to tutor our defensive coaches.

Possibly safe to say that a Port Neches team has never allowed as many yards in a game.

On the flip side, the 2017 team now holds the PN-G school record for most points scored in a season. 515.

Most impressive about that stat, it only took them 10 games total to do it. 51.5 points per game is not too shabby.

Go Indians! Peace.

IndianFan - thanks for the link to iPreps through the BMT Enterprise. Those stats read like a video game on steroids. Has a PN-G team ever racked up over 600 yards of offense in the playoffs? What is the most yards a PN-G team has ever gained in one game? On defense (sigh), I'm guessing you're right, no other PN-G team has given up 800+ yards on the defensive side of the ball. But, all is well that ends well. PN-G got the W and will be (1) practicing on Thanksgiving Day, and (2) playing at NRG Stadium next Friday. Keep it rolling Indians.

Go Indians! Peace.
