Central Shunned???
It's not out of line to say that they would have done the same thing to us had PN-G somehow lost to Ozen and Central had beaten Livingston last night. Is it right? No. Central's still one of the best teams in this area and they don't deserve to be "shunned" just because they had a momentary... -
We Need to Get Rid Of....
No need to. I spoke with two of our cheerleaders a few weeks ago (after either MCM or the Vidor game - I don't remember which). Oddly enough, they said Cherokee was audible by the north end zones. Maybe it's just because they're on the track. -

All of the coaches seem to be hitting it off very well here. It's good to see. I think our communities are very glad to have them, especially since they've done such a stellar job with our athletics department and really motivated our school. Welcome to PN-G, all coaches and family. -

Does the technology exist? Yes. But it involves incasing the band in a large soundbooth and that's not within PN-G's financial reach (unless we decide to pass another bond). Not any more (thankfully). The baseball fields will get some paved parking, but the practice fields won't be paved. As far as the fields across Park St. from the high school go, I don't know why they're being cleared, but they are being cleared. I don't think that land is owned by the district... -

Have some patience. The parking situation will be rectified just as soon as the new wings of the high school are completed and B-Hall and that section of A-Hall can be torn down. -
