    Thursday Night Pep Rally

While I don't know what time the football team will be leaving (they typically travel separately), the band, Indianettes, escorts, twirlers, cheerleaders, and Geronimo's Crew are set to leave ~4:15. If I remember correctly, it took about two hours to get from the school to Stallworth two years...

    PN-G vs barbers hill predictions

Indians by 10 points or more. I don't think anyone from BH really has a good idea of what they'll be facing Friday night.

    Big Bass Drum

It's not very easy to perfectly tune a drum, and they have to be tuned for our halftime performances. We do have a bigger bass drum and it will be added in next year. The percussion section is growing, and with more percussionists comes more sound.

All-District Candidates, What do you think?

So, IndianFan, now that we're in the playoffs and will be playing games a little closer to Houston, any plans on attending?

    INDIANS DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!

Mr. Keith's exact words after the Livingston game. I'm sure he repeated them last night.

    Big Bass Drum

Two reasons: Their drums are bigger. Their drums are "loose." We'll be adding in a second quint and a bigger bass drum next year, and there are rumors going around about an additional snare as well. Drums are tuned by how "tight" they are, but this also effects volume. If a drum is very...

PN-G Named KBMT 12's "Band of the Week"

That's right, we did it again. A big "thank you" goes out to all who voted. I apologize for not posting something on the board earlier. I didn't even know we were in the race again until the reporter came and handed us the banner.

    INDIANS DISTRICT CHAMPS!!!!

San Antonio, here we come, guns blazing. :machinegun: :guns: :pistols: And we'll be back in August.

Most exciting HS football game I've ever seen.

That game made the Texas City game look like a church service. At this point, I'm convinced that this school can do anything. PN-G has kicked some major butt on all fronts this year, and this game put the cherry on top. Now, I'm thinking that a state championship trophy is within our reach. GO...

PNG JV 10-0 season, PNG JV 28, Central JV 8

There's a rumor going around at the school that we're the only school in the state with both an undefeated JV team and an undefeated Varsity team. I don't know if it's true, but if it is, way to go, Indians.

Barber's Hill Playoff Game Time & Location

The band directors announced today that the official word has come from the office and the playoff game will be held on the 13th. The only remaining question is about the location. It looks like we'll be at Stallworth, but that hasn't been set in stone yet.

We Need to Get Rid Of....

On the contrary. Mrs. Briggs would do just about anything for the students of PN-G. I can think of far more strict disciplinarians who teach at the high school than Mrs. Briggs. She is a fantastic Assistant Principal and is well-liked among most of the students. The cheerleaders are in the midst...

    PNG vs. Central Location?

They won't be the only ones there. There were a few county constables at the Ozen game and I remember a state trooper or two at last year's Central game. My guess is that they'll have this and then some at the Babe Friday.

    PNG vs. Central Location?

I'm more concerned about the crowds than I am the football teams. Both teams have new coaches that have instilled quite a bit more discipline in these players as compared to last year. My concern is what goes on in the stands and in the parking lot, not so much what happens on the field. You...

Not at this time. This is just the rumor going around. I'll keep my ears open, though.

    I just realized something....

Personally, I find it hilarious that not only is this one of the first times Barber's Hill has been in the playoffs since they were bumped up to Conference 4A, but that they've suffered defeats at the hands of the Indians both last year and this year (close ones, but defeats nonetheless) and...

The Central Thread (We've Been Waiting for This)

There's nothing I hate more than playing a desperate team, and Central is a desperate team if there ever was one. This game decides whether PN-G and Central are district co-champs or not. In addition, this is their last game in the Babe, something that's comparable to our last game in the old...

    I just realized something....

I've been a member of SETXSports.com since last April, and I got to looking around the football board on that site a few minutes ago and realized that half of the threads on that board either have PN-G as the main subject or mention PN-G at some point. We're really making waves in this area this...

We Need to Get Rid Of....

Another thing to consider is the fact that the band is located further above the ground than it used to be. In the old stadium, the tops of the home and vistor's stands were even with each other, whereas now the top of the home side in the band section is well above that of the visitor's side...

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
