    I noticed that. From what I was told, they're going to move the tennis courts north a little ways. I've also been told that the school district has received a waiver on one of the retention ponds.

    That's alright. It doesn't matter who has the bigger jumbotron. It matters who has more points on the scoreboard, and I'm willing to bet that it won't be any of the Beaumont schools for the next few years.

    For the most part, that's the mentality. We had a fight this year in B-hall and a teacher and a coach grabbed both kids and personally drug them down to the office, where the assistant principals took over. I'm glad to say that it has been one of only two fights to take place at the high school...

    I'm proud to say that Mr. Keith has done an exceptional job controlling these problems at the high school. He has cracked down on the "troublemakers," and I am glad to say that the situation has improved greatly since he took over. I can only hope that the other principals follow his example.

    Groves is moving along so much faster then Port Neches, and the only reason that the construction company can offer is that they just "buckled down" with Groves. What's wrong with this picture?
