    May Band Events

That's correct. All four perform on the same night, but seperately. The two Groves bands go first, and then the two Port Neches bands.

    May Band Events

I'm going to try to get a list of the music to be performed at the concert as soon as the band directors have chosen the pieces. Also, there is one more event: Middle School Spring Concert - May 19th @ 7 p.m. @ PN-GHS Auditorium - All four middle school bands will perform three songs apiece.

    Indian Stadium Renovation

Is there any room left around the stadium for a possible expansion of either the stadium or the high school? I know the new middle schools have an increased capacity, and that the high school will have an increased capacity when the renovations are complete (or, at least, they were before the...

I didn't know that. If you don't mind my asking, who was it?

    PN-G Indian Band's 2009 Concert & Sightreading Results

Most high school bands only do one show. The only band I can think of that doesn't is Vidor, and that's because they do a special homecoming show (like the one we saw at their homecoming last year, with the fireworks). In addition to those two contests, we also have Solo & Ensemble Competition...

    New Cheerleaders

The fact that they didn't make cheerleader but still wanted to represent the school really demonstrates that "Purple Pride."

    PN-G Indian Band's 2009 Concert & Sightreading Results

You know, it's funny that you mention purple pride. Nederland's football team was practicing on the field behind the Performance Arts Center when the band left. Now that I think about it, it would've been the perfect time to play Cherokee.

PNG Athletic Booster Club is soon to become a reality

Just don't start a booster club. The football booster club is going to have enough competition as is. :)

This is the perfect start for Coach Faircloth's new program.

    New Cheerleaders

I would think so, but it probably depends on how those speakers present their argument and how they define what, specifically, they want changed.

Good luck tonight, Indians!!! Show your stuff

Coach Stone is a good coach. My money is on the Indians.

    New Cheerleaders

Maybe back then we actually had a good football team and the crowd was watching them instead of the cheerleaders. ;D Sorry. I didn't mean anything by that, but I just couldn't help myself. I truly believe the cheerleading squads do and have done a great job, regardless of the tryout...

    2009-2010 Football Schedule

Well, if you think about it, our only home games this year were Lumberton, Central, and Livingston, so it makes sense that we play them at their stadiums and everyone else at our stadium next year. It's probably just to even things out from this past season. I'm sure things will be back to...

New Drum Majors and Twirlers for 2009-2010

You know, I have to say that this past Indian Spirit/Varsity Cheerleader competition was really a step in the right direction as far as "fan/student spirit" goes. I think the prospect of a new coach and a new playing style, in addition to the exceptional performances by our soccer and baseball...

    New Cheerleaders

It used to be that there were two groups of candidates for the freshman squad, with one group of eighth graders from Port Neches and one group of eighth graders from Groves. Each tried out in front of their respective middle school classes and were voted on by their fellow eighth graders at that...
