Anyone have pictures of the latest track updates? It would be cool to see a photo taken from the top of the stands.

The last couple of days, a crew has been working on the visitors stands. The first 2 rows have been removed to allow for modifications to add handicapped seating like on the home side.

I WISH that last picture was one of the workers installing a handicap seating area, .... but I know it's not.

The worker has his arm around the new guardrail which is where the post were for the 2nd row of seats. That rail protects those in the handicap area from those in the main stand.
Those workers are standing on the extension of the visitors front walkway where the 1st row of seats were. You have to zoom in to see 2 tee supports that seats will be attached to
that are for those seated with our handicap visitors

I like the looks of the track, looks like the old cinder track in color, but it's not..

Y'all help me out here, was our track ever purple?

I think so, and then it faded.

Yep, they painted it purple when I was in high school. It ended up being more trouble than it was worth. It did fade and it was vandalized several times by TJ and Ned.

I went by Friday afternoon and a two man crew was just starting to place marks along the arc on the track. When I got there mid morning Saturday, this was what I saw.

They are pouring a concrete walkway on the visitors side Saturday. This is the visitors access to the field for Band, Cheerleaders, etc.
