What ya got?

Don’t get clever, pound the rock.If the Indians play to their capability on both sides of the ball , they win by two TDs. Mix in any turnovers or other boneheaded mistakes. It’s a toss up.
I agree. I think a turnover will decide the game.My guess- one TD or less game coming down to the final drive. I will admit the Dogs have surprised me with the improvements they have made from last year and even the beginning of this year.
I understand the feeling, but I also think everyone needs to forget the #1 ranking. The best thing we can do for the players is to never mention it. It’s stupid, it’s a curse, it’s nothing, it’s air. We aren’t playing for a #1 ranking, we’re playing for way more. I sincerely hope they unrank us next week. It would make no difference as to how good we are, or aren’t. Also, we aren’t the state champs. We were last year. This team is a blank slate. We just have to play the next game.I think this is the most anxious feeling I’ve had about MCM in a LONG time!! It’s always MADNESS competing for bragging rights and the Bum Phillips Trophy but adding that defending STATE CHAMPS and #1 ranking target on our back to the mix takes things to a whole other level so best believe those dogs are coming in more FIRED UP than EVER!! The “Katy tree” coaches are duke it out, NO DOUBT but I’ll take Gary “DADDY’S $” Joseph for the KNOCKOUT!!
True but the Indian D has had success stopping good backs. With 2 very capable backs, a superior o line and a better passing game, PN-G will equally test Nederland.Nederland running game is going to test our defense all night.
Really think that? I hope your right.48-17 PNG
A superior D line as well.True but the Indian D has had success stopping good backs. With 2 very capable backs, a superior o line and a better passing game, PN-G will equally test Nederland.
This is exactly what I’ve been saying. No anxiety here. Nederland has improved but it remains doubtful that they’re good enough to win next week. If they are and do, I’ll be the first to say congrats. You can’t compare games, but for conversation, a back to back common opponent will do. WF put up 28 points on Nederland’s defense the week prior. WF couldn’t even score on PN-G’s third string defense. How does that calculate?
And as far as LC goes. Not a good comparison game. LC fell off the edge after the Indians beat them. And PNG’s defense was adjusted and improved since that week.
+1 on all of this. We've already played against Nederland's "stars" for the past two years. They're good, but we've seen 'em, we know 'em, and we've played against them.No anxiety here. Nederland has improved but it remains doubtful that they’re good enough to win next week. If they are and do, I’ll be the first to say congrats. Glad I’m not the only one…lol! I am confident our coaching staff will put together another master game plan and the INDIANS will silence the dogs AGAIN!! I’m always nervous about MCM, but a little more so this year, only cause that “#1” next to our name and 2023 State Champs trophy in the case just gives THEM more ammunition than usual…lol!Yeah
I’m optimistically nervous
