It's not adequate to present a link and not provide more details. Does that link go to an individuals account that will stream the game on Friday? Is there an NDN Press account or channel on Twitch? Is the expectation to search for the stream on game night? How can viewers avoid clicking on the bogus links that frequently masquerade as the PNG game stream? Please be more specific to avoid confusion.

Test broadcast is up and I can’t get any sound (I assume it is supposed to have sound but no way to tell. It seems like it should have it so you can test whether it works). Also, it works with wifi but not with a cellular signal. Anyone else have these problems?

My Bally station 637 lists PNG game. I’m in League City.

Not to change the subject but this video shows the intensity and speed of the PNG/LC game at the ground level. It also shows that massive PNG crowd and how loud it is on the field. Hopefully this Friday it is the same! It also shows that our sophomore QB has really really good technique and a quick release.

Bailey is phenomenal at QB. Calm, accurate and strong arm, manages and runs the offense seamlessly. The number of ‘bad’ throws from him this season can probably be counted on 2 hands.

Not big on predications or necessarily accurate doing it, but the more game video I’ve watched, the more belief I have that PNG is going to be able to run wild on the LH defense. They are simply outmanned. Scrappy is trumped by big, strong and quick. I wouldn’t be surprised at a 49 point offensive output by the Indians. Both Nguyen and Chatagnier are set to have some long runs.

I too have watched film and I see the exact same thing, not trying to be to overconfident, but we are bigger, faster, stronger. I think they will move the ball fairly decent, but they will not be able to stop us at all. PNG 42-LH 24

Liberty Hill will play a heck of a game no doubt, but they are going up against a very tough PN-G team. I suspect the Indians will be ready to battle with an equal amount of effort. Feels like a 49-21 game. Giving credit to LH toughness to get them 21 points with an extreme effort.

Do either of you have the Florida state championship games listed for the SD channel (37). As of yesterday, my relative in SW Houston still had Florida state championship games scheduled for 9am, 2pm, and 7pm for both 37 (SD) and 637 (HD) on his Xfinity guide for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Just trying to figure out if they may have at some point switched to the PNG game on the HD channel (637). I have read that Bally sometimes has different sporting events on the SD and HD channels, so if either of you have the Florida game on 37 my relative might have some hope that the Xfinity provider in his area may change either 37 or 637 to the PNG game at some point prior to game time. He does not have access to wifi, so if his cell signal is weak he will not be able to get the NDNpress broadcast. (last night it worked on my wifi but not on cellular; this morning it worked on both for me; I suspect that this is because my cell signal was worse last night; since youtube worked fine for me last night, this probably means that twitch requires a stronger cell signal than youtube, so anyone who plans to watch without wifi could have problems).

As I note in the post above, the problems with cellular was most likely related to fluctuations in my cell signal, so anyone planning to watch without wifi could have problems (at the same time when I could not get Twitch on cellular, I could get youtube and everything else with no problems). However, I have still been unable to get any sound on the test broadcast. Does anyone else get sound? I am trying to figure out if the test broadcast is SUPPOSED to have sound or not, because if so something is not working right on my end. If nobody else is getting it, most likely nothing is wrong and we will get sound only when the actual game is broadcast.

I live in Houston (Heights area, near north Houston, north of downtown). I have Comcast Xfinity cable service. On my cable menu for Friday, December 8, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. is Port Neches - Groves vs. Liberty Hill (Live)(Semifinal). Channel 637 Bally Sports (HD). I hope this helps.

I am attending the game in-person, but I am recording it on the Comcast Xfinity DVR. I'm not sure if that helps you, but the recording is set and the DVR note says: Port Neches - Groves vs. Liberty Hill, Channel 637, Bally Sports (HD).

More thoughts on the probable LH strategy. Ball control. Play defense by playing offense. If they can win the possession time, limit PNG opportunities, score enough when they can, and stop the Indians a couple of times, they have a shot. Lots of ifs.

Thanks. Hopefully they changed the latter game. I will inform my relative to check again. However, the PNG game starts at 7pm, so if their coverage actually starts at 7:30pm there will still be a problem. Maybe you meant 7pm.
