I have it on good authority that the "responsibilities and duties of the head football coach" is on the agenda for the upcoming board meeting on Tuesday night.

Too bad the meeting doesn't include an opportunity to include the board's part in a lot of this as MightyNDNS was pointing out in his previous post, but since the board doesn't allow an open public forum I guess it won't happen. And let me elaborate so that I might not be corrected by others on here, you must have previously asked and received permission (be added to the agenda) to have the privilege to speak to the board. There can be no public discussion from the floor.
BTW,I'm very proud of our current players who have gotten on here and voiced their opinions. Their's matter more than any of ours. Just as the expression goes regarding throwing the baby out with the bath water, we've thrown the program out with the stadium.

That discussion will hopefully address the concern with the middle school teams receiving the proper instruction. Also possibly reviewing the high school staff and making sure it's optimized. I agree with a lot of people who have said the same thing. Bring in a new OC and allow the offensive line coach to refocus on that duty. And build up the middle school programs to make sure they're in synch with the high school program. Back in the old days that was a strength of the program.

LOL...I didn't realize they are some sort of demi-gods that one needs to have permission to speak to them. Sounds very democratic (with full sarcasm) ...and to think that they depend on your votes to get them on the board...What a farce!!!

There was lots of talk back then about changing, but when it came right down to it, they voted in the same old members. Go figure?????

Then IMHO those people have no right to complain if they won't voice their preference at the polls.
