UIL issues penalties for state champion Texas high school football program for recruiting
TD went to Lucas Lovejoy which is in Melissa's district. As a side note, they lost last year in the playoff's to SOC 42-0 ... they easily handled Melissa in district play (who also lost to SOC in the playoffs). -
PN-G Indians - 2023 5A-DII State Champions!
In past years, we would at times have a good defense, but they always allowed big plays which killed us. This defense of the past 2 years did a much better job of keeping plays in check ... we would still occasionally give up the big play, but it wasn't very frequent. -

Realignment
They definitely make a lot more cash when when PN-G is in the finals, so there decision to move us is very confusing and troubling (all the so called conspiracies surrounding the last election were true, just saying). If we can continue the trend of the past 2 years, there is no reason why... -
Realignment
YEs, they put several WACO area schools in region 3 and they should have went to region 2 ... then we would go back to region 3. It's pretty idiotic, but as I same in my other post, if I had to guess, it's about the money at the end of the day... -
Non-District Schedule
IMO, with all of the constantly changing enrollments, it's becoming harder and harder to have districts that make sense geographically speaking. When I first started school, the district was much more reasonable with all local schools....but with schools some schools dropping and others moving... -

Sounds like spoiled little brats whining because they lost. There are always going to be bad calls..sometimes they go against you and sometimes not. In this particular instance, it didn't immediately help by the post game even saying this was a suspect call, but now that evidence is clearing... -

Tepper had to say on the post game it was questionable. but they were looking as he defended the pass itself which was clean, but not immediately before which that shot clearly shows def pi. That said, they said PNG deserved the win as they made the big plays when it counted. -

I just couldn't justify the cost in today's ecomony as much as I wanted to go ( and I even live only an hr away)...signed up for a free 7 day sub on fubo, so watching on TV...tickets, gas, parking and food your looking at atleast $120 .... and if your out of town tack on atleat another $275 with... -
Next Game: 5A Division II State Championship
Hopefully this year we can actually hear our band playing. It was hard to hear them last year due to how they were seated. -

This game was not as close as the outcome imo ....85 yd fake punt for a td...2 tds in the last few minutes on passes that should have been swatted down and the 50 plus yd td called back after the 2nd consective holding call...smh. We gotta work on special teams...kickoffs leaving a short field... -
