If we could dial the calendar back to the 70s, there would be no hesitancy by NRG. 30,000+ attendance at multiple games in the Astrodome was no fluke. Now days there seems to be too many entertainment and viewing options and less people attending high school football games, including PN-G games. But NRG might pull a larger crowd than usual especially given the weather forecast for Friday. Despite the shift in fan focus, PN-G probably still has the most faithful fan base in the state.

Here’s a good article from last year. It draws heavily from pngindians.com for information which is always a good source for a history refresher when you’re in the mood. It’s also a great ‘media guide’ and presents PN-G Indian Nation to the world in one place.

Opponents be aware, wherever you go. The myth, the legend, the reality and the force of the PN-G Indian Nation is ready and waiting.

If we get NRG this week, don’t count us out to pull a 1999-level crowd. Through the third round of the playoffs, our crowds have been noticeably bigger this season.

I think they want to televise in on Bally
I just checked my Bally Sports tv guide. They have a block from 7:30-10:30 on Saturday for HS Football - Teams TBA. I’m definitely not in favor of a Saturday game. However, there’s two 6A games scheduled for 7 PM Saturday so Bally could easily slot one of them in. Of course, their Friday night programming is just reruns of shows so that would be an easy adjustment for them. Note, region 4 final is scheduled for Friday so it only makes sense for us to do the same.

Additional note: no one has NRG Stadium booked this Friday. However, NRG Arena will be hoppin’ with a Janet Jackson concert.

Texas City scored 7 against Huntsville, LBJ 28, and Randle just 13, so Huntsville has a defense to write home about for sure. It appears that they played Lake Creek a close game. This could be another close game, but I'm hoping that we can take it to them.
WRT Lake Creek, they played a dirty game, similar to the LBJ game last season, and even my wife was seeing things going on. I'm surprised they didn't draw more flags, especially in the 4th qtr.

It appeared to me that Lake Creek played them with a backup QB. Randall scored 13 this time around but the first time they played, Randle blew them out 35-6

If they televise on Bally NDN Press will be banned from televising any video of the game (also Texanlive). I cannot get Bally and therefore hope they do NOT televise it or I wiil be stuck with radio only.
Me either ...no Bally on Hulu Live...otherwise I will be relegated to listening to 92.5.
