    Thanks Indian band!

    Friday night was awesome ! I had both my boys on the field at halftime....the one and only time ever....was a very special night for me. We have a great group of middleschool kids coming up ....to carry on the Purple Pride Band Traditions :clap:

    Area F Marching Competition

    Pappasitas is where they stopped to eat on way home. We sat closer to the front and you could not hear all those kids in back section of restuarant! We always get great compliments on our band kids when we are out as a group!! I'm sooo proud of each and every student in our Purple Pride Band!!

    I agree w/Squaw !!! Priorities are not in the best interests of the students and their education!!! Ridiculous expendures will not have an excuse greatest enough to pass alot of peoples feelings and opinions !!!! I'll ask again, does the pressbox restrooms have a bidet in them ?

    You may not want to B**** about the price of the chairs, garbage cans and whatever else that was ridiculously spent for the press box! THAT MONEY SPENT IS COMING OUT OF MY SCHOOL TAXES !!!! You may not have a problem paying high dollars for your school taxes....but other may !!!

    Pep Rally for Lumberton Game

    The Lumberton Pep Rally is scheduled for 2:30pm at the Stadium ! It shows on pngisd.org the 8th period class ends at 2:20. I just called the school and confirmed the time w/Mrs Miller, the peprally is at 2:30 today. Our awesome Purple Pride Band goes to Area Contest tomorrow, Saturday October...

    School Population

    Our this year graduating class total at end of last school year was 324...I've heard this year, it's somewhere around 330. Back in my days....we had 10-12th grade at the highschool. There were right at 500 kids each graduating year 77-80. Which made us a 5A school...how much has changed in...

    My husband says .....putting the band in the middle - 50 yard line section of the bleachers, that should eliminate all the not being able to hear the band! What about that idea ? Folks on both sides should be able to hear Cherokee and other songs...... :music:
