Speaking of attendance. Fan attendance can very well make a difference in this game. Both teams are good and this game will likely be decided by "the little things". A full PNG house could be the "Shock and Awe" that tilts the game for PNG. Turpin stadium seats only 15,971. It would be awesome if 8,000 Indians sshowed up. If PNG doesn't win this game there will be no more chances to show off the Indian Spirit this year. That would be a shame beacause there is nothin else like it in High School Footbal. Call as many fans as you can and emphasize how important this game is. Trade shifts with non-PNGers, lean on your bosses to let you off early and do whatever else is necessary to show up. The PNG football team can't see or feel you if you aren't at the game. (I have been a PNG Indian since 1955 and I hope the Indian Spirit goes on and on and on.}
Believe me these are once in a lifetime experiences to share with your spouses, children, grandchildren. It’s about the journey and final destination. Creating memories.

They are taking screenshots of our conversations here and posting it on their Texarkana page mocking us now.
Let’s not practice in such bufoonery here (repeating their ignorance). Chances are those are juveniles who don’t know any better. And they may not even be Texarkana fans or alumni. If that’s not the case, we all know that If you walk this planet long enough, you quickly learn and are often reminded that there is a special breed of humans that are at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to intellect and judgement. Neither do they have the capacity to recognize others for their achievements. But they usually do make good keyboard warriors who make cowardly comments and enjoy idiotic activities like copying from other conversations. The joke is on them, they just don’t know it. They are an embarrassment to their school and community.

Fortunately not all Texas High, and fans representing other communities, operate on such a low level. Ace and Bordertown represent their community and school well. That’s who we recognize here as representatives of THS, Texarkana, TX, and all the decent and honorable fans that support that team. Good luck to both teams and may all fans have a safe trip to and from the game. And for the morons out there, be careful and don’t win a Darwin Award.

Football as a sport tends to lean toward trash talk
Anything I’ve said about Texas High or Texarkana is always with love in my heart
Several generations worth
(To anyone who misinterprets) nothing I wouldn’t say in front of my TXK homies and family
But I can see how my sharp and rambling tongue could be taken wrong haha
(It’s tough being me lol)
I have deep roots there including all the other High Schools’ history
On Fridays and Saturdays most of my day is watching (or rewatching PNG THS PG and LE games (every week)

Usedtocould, you exhibit all that is good about Texas high school football fans. And we claim you as our own. Doesn’t matter where you’re from, or who your favorite team is. From what I’ve seen, you recognize the good and the bad and do it respectfully.

I for one have nothing against Texas High annd have always admired their teams to be honest. We won’t let a few fools on a keyboard spewing ignorance on some other messageboard tarnish the spirit and mutual respect of good fans. And hopefully whoever runs that forum will sweep that garbage off their site.

Each team has a community. Together they help to define each other and their character.
Katy is "The City of Champion"
PNG is "Honor, Pride, Tradition"
In the end it is not about winning or loosing, it's about character and how this reflects back to the communities they represent.
Every community has their fools and the wise.
The fools we ignore and the wise we appreciate.
Now let's see how our young men, coaches, teacher, bands, cheer leaders, etc. represent their communities.
I for one would like it said about PNG that we are a people of outstanding Honor, Pride, and Tradition.
Who are we? PNG

1) Thanks to the Texarkans Texas fan's for providing more details on their great team. Knowledge is powerful. Although, I am sure Coach Joseph already knew all that.
2) I have seen several coments about how well PNG played in the Bi-District and Area games. I wouldn't put much weight in those successes. In both of those games. the oponents were out of there league. Any team with the PNG talent would find those teams no challenge.
3) I agree with tony79. Being the underdog can be an advantage. I am sure Coach Joseph knows how to harness this into a physchologic motivator. Sports prognosticators are quite often wrong.
4} Would someone explain how the home team designation is determined in post season playoffs. There is nothing mysterious about the bi-district game. Home team designation goes to the two highest teams in each district.
