    PORT NECHES-GROVES vs ozen predictions

If our defense plays solid as in the previous weeks, our offense will score enough and we will win again. This applies to both Ozen and Central. The Ozen defense is weak from what I hear, so I predict PN-G 49 Ozen 14. The score I am liking to watch is the Turnover count we are +22 now...

    Lumberton stadium

I live across the highway from the stadium and will be walking to the game. The parking lot will be packed and will be slow to empty after the game. Walking through my neighborhood decked out in purple will be fun!! I can't wait for Friday..

    PN-G vs Lumberton Predictions

I now live in Lumberton. I pull for the Raiders every week, except this one. PN-G will win and win BIG. We should score in the 40+ range, and Lumberton might score late. Every "Home" game for me is 35 miles from home. This game, I will walk across HWY 69 and not burn any gas to get to. By...

PN-G vs. Livingston Game Updates: PN-G wins 30-7!

Funny thing about that lady announcer. She was on the radio after the game. Her show started at 10:45 on the radiostation she mentioned. She sounded so depressed when she started her radio show. Then a few Indian fans call in, and she was gracious in defeat.

    Can't hear the BAND

That would work, or just playing straight across the filed and have the sound bounce back. Swinging the horns makes the sound go out in two directions, and as 1/2 volume in each.

    Livingston's Stadium

The UIL needs to consider this situation. Jasper stadium is too small to accomidate PN-G, NED, and Lumberton in thier district too. If these smaller 4A schools want to play with the big boys, they need to enlarge thier stadiums, or be required to schedule the larger schools at a neutral site.

Vote on Your Favorite Tempo for Cherokee

I have seen some ideas about the lack of volume on Cherokee, and one was that without the end zone seats, the sound gets lost. That go me to thinking. Our band swings their horns when playing Cherokee. The thought is by swinging half one way, and half the other way, the volume is not effected...

Vote on Your Favorite Tempo for Cherokee

I apologize for posting my last post "To Squaw". That message is for everyone wondering why the band only does one show a year. Things can get heated on these boards like a debate. That was not my intent. Squaw, please accept my apology. I know you are a "bleed purple" fan like I am.

Vote on Your Favorite Tempo for Cherokee

I can tell you this Squaw, I was in the band in 1983, the last year that we did more than one show all year long. We went to state after performing our contest show 3 or 4 games, the first 6 or 7 we did different shows. The reason we had to begin doing "one" show for the season was because the...

    POSITIVES

The stadium looked awesome. The team played great for the first game. That WAS the FIRST win in the new stadium!!! The team played with class, and discipline, that is the best positive I saw. The Band looked good for the first game as well.

    Not Loud Enough

All of this griping and complaining is really not good for PN-G. Some facts about me. I was in the Band from 82-85 Football years. Class of 86. I have had season tickets since I graduated. My son is now a Jr. and in the band. I seldom leave games early. I now live in Lumberton. I drive 35...

    Concessions

That was my favorite meal too!! And you could go to the trash lady and get extra no bake cookies if you asked nicely. She would not let anyone throw them away, so she had a nice stack of the ones no one else wanted. That was at Port Neches Jr. High.

PNG vs. Barbers Hill & Game Comments

Re: PNG vs. Barbers Hill PN-G 42 Barbers Hill 21 I think our offense will be explosive based on what I have seen on the hilight video against Memorial. Our defense will be good to, but BH will score late when the 2nd and 3rd string D goes in.

    Cherokee Ring Tone

I created a Cherokee Ring tone and would like to share it with all Indian fans. I can not upload it to the message board. How can I get on this site to share it with everyone who would like it? It is 11 sec and a great Indian Fan ring tone.
