    Ken Watson

Tacked up on the wall where you would see it when you entered the field house, during the '68 season, was an article from somewhere, maybe Port Arthur News back then, titled "Always the Bridesmaid, Never the Bride". That pretty much says it all I think. Or, at least that says pretty much all...

    SETCA 2024 Football All-Star Game

Did anyone else attend this game last Friday evening at Lamar Stadium? If I understand it right, the team representatives are seniors, nominated by each team's coaches, who are not planning to play college football, are available and willing, etc. They have 3 or 4 practices then play the game...

SPRING GAME: 6 PM Monday, May 13, at Indian Stadium

All sounds good. I had planned to drop by and see some of the Nederland scrimmage, then head to our stadium, but the weather delays messed that up. Instead of watching Nederland football first, I watched PNG choir first, then to the field for the State Champ Ring(s) presentation. That was...

    2024 Schedule--Official

I agree, we lost some very good DBs, although the DBs were the weakest spot on the very very good defense last season, and I was surprised that SOC didn't try to throw more, especially after watching the Liberty Hill film. But anyway, of the 4 inside LBs from last season, 3 are graduating in a...

SPRING GAME: 6 PM Monday, May 13, at Indian Stadium

I may go watch the Bulldogs game at 6:30 (for $5 also btw), maybe for a half, then head over to our stadium to catch the 2nd half, and the ring ceremony. I'm kind-of interested to see the "new" Bulldogs, and the new coach.

    2024 Schedule--Official

PNG Indians will have their hands full with next season's schedule, I'm thinking. Best wishes, and best of luck to the new, 2024, Indians. They'd better be ready.

    PN-G Indians - 2023 5A-DII State Champions!

There is no "dislike" key for your post, so I'll just say this. My post was neither about God nor the Chronicle. It was a comparison of attitudes of two different losing teams; a young QB from N. Shore vs the head coach of SOC. Which was the subject at the time of the post.

    PN-G Indians - 2023 5A-DII State Champions!

As opposed to SOC, here is a quote from the Houston Chronicle from the North Shore QB, after their loss to Duncanville yesterday. Quote of the night: “First and foremost, I believe that God does everything for a reason. It was a blessing just having the opportunity to come back out here and...

Thanks. I've been there, but get a "This app won't work for your device", message. Per on line searches, others with Androids have the same issue. Praying we will have service at ATT, and be able to log into SeatGeek.

    Travel Poll

I'm leaving Jeff County early Sat morning, will meet up with 3 others in Arlington, then driving 1 vehicle to the stadium. Between 4 phones we will hopefully be able to log into seatgeek and access our tickets. The seatgeek app is not compatible with my Android apparently, and I haven't figured...

Next Game: 5A Division II State Championship

We can beat them. They're not unbeatable. There's talk on here or maybe some other site about which PNG team is better, '22 or this '23 team. That serves no purpose, and is hard to compare anyway. The teams are very similar, with lots of returning players that played regularly last year. If we...

    PN-G Indians 42, Liberty Hill Panthers 35

Indeed. Our linebackers weren't just being held, they were being tackled. They knew it was coming, but still, there should have been a few flags thrown. At practice(s) all last week, the coaches had the scout squad offensive linemen holding and tackling our linebackers, trying to get them used...

    PN-G Indians 42, Liberty Hill Panthers 35

I scrolled through all the way to the ~4.24 mark, just to hear what the young man NDN Press play by play announcer had to say about LH's Jack Pitchford when he illegally stepped from the sideline onto the field to catch the punt. I really enjoy the broadcast, they do such a great job. Right now...

Yeah I saw that too. Score comparisons always look good on paper. Especially high school score comparisons.

NEXT GAME: PN-G (13-1) vs Liberty Hill (10-4)

After the LH game last year Coach J. gave credit to the practice squad, stating that they ran approx 150 some-odd plays from the slot T, in quick-to-the-line, quick-snap fashion. I would imagine this week's practice will be similar. Still, it may take a series or so, live, to get used to it...

PN-G INDIANS FOOTBALL

I could not be more proud of our team and our community. The spirit here is unmatched! I am so lucky to be a part of it and to wear the purple and white! The journey of this football season, with these coaches and our players, will stay with me forever.  -- PN-G Head Coach Jeff Joseph
